ILOILO, Philippines - A mother and her 23-year-old daughter were repeatedly stabbed to death inside their home in Zarraga town, Iloilo province, on Thursday night.

Senior Inspector Hilario Roga, Zarraga town police’s crime scene investigator, identified the victims as Lilia Simpia and daughter, Ana Mae.

Roga said the victims’ bodies were found in separate rooms in their home in Villar Carmela Subdivision, Barangay Poblacion Ilawod around 9 p.m..
